Customers are being invited to gain “hands-on knowledge” of Kia’s latest electrified range with new nationwide ‘Electric Experience’ events.

These events provide those interested in Kia’s all-new Niro EV, all-new Sportage and EV6 the opportunity to sit in and get up close to the vehicles. There will also be an opportunity to ask EV experts questions. Customers can book a slot online.

They will run across Kia’s 191 dealerships starting in the southeast on 20 April and will continue until 8 July.

The pure electric e-Niro launched in 2018 and has since become the second bestselling EV in the UK. It has a choice of three powertrains to help ease the transition to electric mobility.

The fifth-generation Sportage comes in a MHEV, HEV and PHEV powertrain options, with the PHEV variant having an electric driving range of up to 43 miles per charge.

Finally, the EV6, that was recently crowned ‘Best of the Best’ at the prestigious 2022 Red Dot Design Awards, is Kia’s first EV built on its Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). This can travel up to 328-miles on a single charge.

As part of the company’s ‘Plan S’ strategy, Kia plans to launch 24 pure electric models by 2027.
