At first glance, you might read that headline and imagine that you will turn up at Fully Charged from Friday 29th April to Sunday 1st May and be able to plug in ‘on the day’. In actual fact, Osprey will be offering codes that can be input (using their app on Android or iPhone) to give you a £10 credit for use at any of their 200 active locations across the UK.

Finding the huge stand with logos will be easy enough, then all you need to do is look for someone wearing an orange t-short with ‘Ask me for a free charge’ written across the back.

We’re told that getting your free juice will be as simple as:-

  • Inputting your email and postcode on an iPad
  • Receiving a keyring with a card that has a link for the Osprey Charging app
  • Once the app is installed, the same keyring has a Promo Code that adds the free juice

Full terms and conditions are available online.

What else will be on offer at Fully Charged?  Well, there will be a small army of Osprey experts on hand to answer any questions you may have about charging. Slots are 15 minutes each and you can book them using this link.

Fully Charged Live promises to be a fun day out for experienced enthusiasts and ‘EV first timers’ alike. Find out more about the event itself and how to get tickets here.
