The Deus Vayanne luxury electric hypercar has made its world debut at the New York motor show.

Developed in partnership with Italdesign and Williams Advanced Engineering (WAE), the EV will have over 2,200 bhp, delivering a 0-62mph sprint time of 1.99 seconds.

Its top speed is set to be almost 250mph, but the Austrian automaker has not provided any details on the powertrain itself. Just 99 units will be made with first deliveries in 2025.

“We are really satisfied with the results achieved with the Vayanne in this first phase of our collaboration with Deus,” said Marco Volpengo, Italdesign head of automotive business development Europe.

“Thanks to our distinctive experience in low series vehicle development and manufacturing, we are able to provide our technical support and know-how. Moreover, we are excited to apply and integrate the innovative technologies provided by our partner Williams Advanced Engineering.”

The car's design language is inspired by “symmetry and infinity,” said the manufacturer.

Few details have been given on the vehicle's interior, but we do know the seats are made from natural leather and there is a fully digital instrument cluster and control display.

Deus Automobiles was established in Vienna, Austria in 2020 and aims to stand out in the increasingly competitive hypercar sector by offering “fresh” and “innovative concepts” in terms of luxury, performance and exclusivity.
