ŠKODA rolls out software updates and enhancements for ENYAQ iV

Czech automaker Škoda is introducing enhancements to the infotainment system, an updated battery management system and a revised set of option packages for the ENYAQ iV.

Besides the latest version of the brand’s MEB platform software (v3.2), the offer comes with the ability for future updates to the car’s operating software, made over the air (OTA).

The new software includes an upgrade to the navigation system and head-up display along with visual improvements to the heating and ventilation infotainment screens.

Remote Access for three years is now a standard feature on all ENYAQ iV models, having previously been an option, the company said. It will now enable the customer to view their parking position and vehicle status with their smartphone. This is an addition to the current app features, which include remote charging, climate control and departure planner, the company said.

The software update also reduces electrical losses from the battery to help maximise the driving range. Škoda is offering option packages to four levels of specification for the 2023MY model: Clever, Plus, Advanced and Maxx.

The Clever pack is priced at £2,755 including VAT. It is available on iV 60 and 80 models and is included as standard on the SportLine Plus model. Some of its features include keyless entry, wireless charging, adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection and tri-zone climate control.

The Plus package (over the Clever package) is also available on the aforesaid models and it will cost £4,830 including VAT. An electrically operated tailgate with kick activation, full LED Matrix beam headlights with variable light distribution, full LED rear lights with variable lighting functions and  headlight washers are some of its features.

The Advanced package (over the Plus package) is priced at £6,980 including VAT. It is available on iV 80 and SportLine Plus models with head up display, heated front and rear seats and heated windscreen being some of its features.

The Maxx package (over the Advanced Package) is going to cost £9,375 including VAT and is available on iV 80 and SportLine Plus models as well. Some of its main features include rear side airbags, electrically adjustable front seats, power adjustable lumbar support for front seats and massage function for driver's seat.

The expanded range of single options now includes a panoramic sunroof (£855 inc VAT), heat pump (£1,025 inc VAT), tow bar (£815 inc VAT), partition net screen (£170 inc VAT), and iV universal charger (£680 inc VAT), the company said.

Škoda said it has replaced the ENYAQ iV 80 SportLine and enhanced the basic specification with a new SportLine Plus trim.

The 2023MY ENYAQ iV is available to order now with prices starting from £38,480 OTR.
