Toyota bZ4X: Prices, Model Range and Specification Highlights revealed

Toyota has released pricing and model range details of its first BEV – the hammerhead-shaped bZ4X.

Available in four grades – Pure, Motion, Vision and Premiere – the SUV will start from £41,950 rising to £51,550.

The Pure grade is Toyota’s entry-level version and includes 18in alloy wheels, an 8.0in touchscreen multimedia system and 7.0in digital drivers display. Other basic features include keyless entry, a reversing camera, and a climate control system with a remote operation function. Customers can purchase roof rails and a towing pack as optional extras.

Next up is the Motion version that comes in a choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. This has a rear spoiler, rear privacy glass, power back door, parking sensors and an entry illumination sequence. Inside the Motion are heated front seats, an ambient lighting system and wireless phone-charging tray.

Toyota’s Vision grade leads the top of the regular model line-up and includes rear parking sensors with auto-brake function and remote-controlled parking assist. Its interior comes with leather seat upholstery, heated front seats and steering wheel, and a power back door with kick sensor. The vehicle can also be accessed via a smartphone app using a digital key. As with the Motion, the Vision has both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options. Those looking for more light can get the optional sky-view roof as well.

Limited Premiere Edition models can be bought exclusively through Toyota’s online retail service and currently tops the model range. Luxury features available only with the Premiere, include a nine-speaker JBL sound system and panoramic glass roof. The all-wheel drive powertrain is available as standard.
