Vauxhall reveals price and spec for electric Mokka-e SUV

2020 Vauxhall Mokka-e

Vauxhall has released prices and specifications for the all-new electric Mokka. It will start from £30,840 for SE Nav Premium models after the Government Plug-in Car Grant, with orders now open and deliveries set to begin in April 2021.

The Mokka-e features a 50kWh lithium-ion battery and a 100kW (136hp) electric motor with 260Nm of torque as standard. It also comes with an 11kW on-board AC charger across all models. Under preliminary WLTP tests, the range is up to 201 miles from a single charge.

Customers can choose between three driving modes, Normal, Eco and Sport to suit their journey’s requirements and energy consumption. With support for up to 100kW rapid DC charging, restoring to 80% capacity takes just 30 minutes in the all-new Mokka-e, and the lithium-ion battery is also guaranteed by an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty.

Built on the Common Modular Platform (CMP), the new Mokka is up to 120kg lighter than the outgoing model, with a more responsive and agile chassis thanks to improved body stiffness.

As we reported this model will have many interesting features such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), with Stop and Go function, which will enable the driver to endure traffic jams more easily.

Given the length of only 4.15 metres, the compact and easy to manoeuvre SUV will be in the same segment as the Volkswagen T-Roc and Suzuki Vitara.
