All In Charge by illustrator Ella Murray was chosen following a call for artwork submissions by Osprey Charging to celebrate UK Disability History Month and International Day of People with Disabilities.
The artwork demonstrates support for, and solidarity with the disabled community.
Osprey will be displaying the All In Charge artwork across its EV charging network. It will be printed into high quality wraps and exhibited on 23 of Osprey’s 75kW chargers in December at Bowen Square, Daventry; Golden Hind, Birmingham; The Squirrel, Ludlow; The Bear Inn, Street; Stourvale, Christchurch; The Wharf, Dartford; Burger King, Gloucester; The Crown, Bournemouth; Wardentree, Spalding; and Willows, Blackburn.
“So much needs to be considered when installing chargers and building charging hubs,’’ Murray said. ‘‘I myself know of some of the challenges faced everyday being on the autistic spectrum and appreciate anything that can make life a little bit easier. Thanks to Osprey for giving me a platform to display my art whilst creating such a positive, empowering message.”
EV charging network Osprey had invited visual artists to submit their designs to celebrate UK Disability History Month (November 16th to December 16th) and International Day of People with Disabilities (December 3rd) by midnight on November 13th for a chance to win £1,000.
Osprey’s chargers are currently hosting artwork by Kaia Allen-Bevan, a Racial Justice / Anti Racism advocate, in celebration of Black History Month (1st – 31st October). This display challenges the public to learn more about black history and black experiences and to act on this all year round. This artwork will remain until early in the new year.
Before this, in July, Osprey showcased artwork by queer illustrator and graphic designer Ben White to celebrate Pride and show its support for the LGBTQI+ community.
