ŠKODA releases first exterior sketches of VISION 7S

Powerful underbody, aerodynamically optimised wheels, and gently sloping roofline to the rear – these are just some of the details revealed by ŠKODA in its first exterior sketches of the all-electric seven-seater, VISION 7S.

The drawings of the concept car depict a newly designed, striking front end. The preview also shows how the front headlights, which have been repositioned far out to the edge of the vehicle, are arranged in two rows one above the other. The sharply defined daytime running light strip above them extends laterally into the pronounced wings, extending the light cluster to form a ‘T’.

The Czech manufacturer, which is the maker of passenger cars like FABIA, SCALA, OCTAVIA, and SUPERB, as well as the electric Enyaq iV, is aiming to be one of the five best-selling brands in Europe by 2030 with an attractive line-up in the entry-level segments and additional e-models.

The sharply contoured bonnet of VISION 7S cites the well-known ŠKODA line. The striking, completely redesigned bumper features seven vertically arranged air inlets, with the central one sporting an insert in eye-catching orange. The lower apron area (under the hood metal frame welded to the body and holding the struts) is fitted with an aluminium underride guard. Large, aerodynamically optimised wheels emphasise the VISION 7S’s powerful visual appearance. The side view is defined by clear surfaces and a gently sloping roof line to the rear.

ŠKODA observes that its new design language reflects familiar brand values, such as “robustness, functionality, and authenticity”, and stands out with its spacious interior, durable, sustainable materials, and aerodynamic, efficient body.

Active in over 100 markets, ŠKODA has been a member of the Volkswagen Group for 30 years and employs 45,000 people globally.
