Malvern-based electric vehicle (EV) and smart energy technology business, Indra has signed an exclusive partnership to supply ElectriX with a best-in-class smart home EV charger and installation service.
Home charging is a critical element of the UK’s EV infrastructure, allowing owners of electric cars to charge when their vehicles aren’t in use.
ElectriX is a one-stop shop for EV ownership from LV= General Insurance and offers electric vehicle leasing and insurance.
The Indra Smart PRO charger represents a complete solution that “delivers efficiency, functionality, ease-of-use and reliability to EV owners”, all in a modern, minimalist design. The charger incorporates a number of advanced features, including a personal charging schedule, solar compatibility, automatic software updates, and home fuse protection. This is neatly packaged in a high-quality, robust product with industry-leading levels of reliability, according to the battery manufacturer.

In collaboration with installation partner Plug Me In, Indra is offering drivers a holistic, seamless charging service, which significantly contributes to a positive EV ownership experience. Additionally, it also enables drivers to charge their cars when electricity is cheapest for them and best for the environment by avoiding peak demand and allowing agile tariff customers to take advantage of off-peak or EV energy tariffs.
