European micro-mobility operator, Dott, has announced an expansion of the e-bike and e-scooter information available in Google Maps. This will boost the availability of shared vehicles to use to travel across cities.
More cities across France, Italy, Spain, Finland, Belgium will now have Dott’s e-bikes and e-scooters available through Google Maps. Dott also recently launched in new countries such as Sweden, Israel, and the Netherlands. When planning a journey, Dott’s e-scooters and e-bikes will be offered as a travel option, along with estimates for cost and travel time.
Google Maps will show the closest available Dott vehicle to the user’s position, including walking distance and battery status. Riders are then directed to the Dott app where they can make the journey and choose to pay per trip, or by using a pass to save money on more frequent travel.
The latest additions join previous locations delivered by Dott and Google Maps, across Paris, Brussels, London, Rome, Cologne and Warsaw among others.

The Dott and Google Maps apps are available on Apple Apps store and Google Play.
Dott bikes have previously been made available in the Citymapper app.
