Fresh updates coming for the ŠKODA ENYAQ iV

ŠKODA’s ENYAQ iV model is to receive a number of updates giving drivers improved infotainment functionality, enhanced safety features and faster DC rapid charging.

All ENYAQ iV 80 models built from January 2022 will see rapid charging speeds increase from 125kW to 135kW.

This will result in reduced charging times when using a suitable 150kW+ public charger.

Charging speeds for ENYAQ iV 60 models can be charged at speeds of up to 120kW, up from 100kW previously.

A new traction mode for all-wheel drive ENYAQ iV 80x variants will be available via the driving mode screen on the infotainment panel. This increases anti-slip regulation and provides optimal drive distribution between the front and rear axle.

ŠKODA is also introducing a new battery care mode designed to extend the batteries life. When activated the next charging process will charge to a maximum of 80%.

Infotainment wise, further enhancements are to be made to the graphic displays.

On the navigation system, a new feature will show what the estimated battery level will be when you arrive at your destination, while the charging screen will show AC charging options, a predefined charging function and preconditioning for the cabin.

Safety updates are for customers that have the Assisted Drive Package Plus with Travel Assist.

A Narrow Lane Assist feature will recognise temporary yellow lines, barriers and cars in the next lane and guides the car through narrow spaces.

Additionally, a steering wheel travel assist button will allow drivers to toggle between travel assist modes as well as activating and de-activating the system. When the vehicle is started again, the last mode used will be active.
