Lunaz is building a highly limited number of all-electric classic Aston Martin DB6 cars for clients across the globe that will cost in excess of $1m each.
The English manufacturer aims to further the legacies of the most beautiful cars in history through restoration, re-engineering, and electrification.
Beginning with a bare metal restoration at Lunaz’s HQ in Silverstone, the DB6’s driveability is ensured by having its brakes, suspension and steering up-rated.
Inside, air-conditioning and the integration of the latest infotainment, navigation systems and Wi-Fi connectivity are then installed for maximum comfort and convenience.
Every car will be powered by Lunaz’s proprietary module electric powertrain developed in-house, and comprised of Tier 1 OEM battery cells and motors. Battery capacity will range from 80-120 kWh giving the driver up to 255 miles between charges. All cars by Lunaz come with CCS fast-charging capability.
But where customers really get their money’s worth is with the unrivalled scope of personalisation on offer, so that every EV is remastered entirely to the client’s specification.
Overseen by design director Jen Holloway, who worked for Aston Martin’s Q-Branch, the team take a consultative approach exploring material and colour palettes, which are then visualised using 2D sketch work and advanced 3D modelling.
Clients can, for example, choose an interior free from animal-derived materials.
Fully recycled textiles are offered throughout the cabin environment in harmony with bio-content constructed materials, resulting in an entirely renewed interior.
This level of attention to detail even extends to where a client would like their switches and dials to be placed.
Their vision is executed by more than 100 engineers, restoration specialists and craftspeople working at Silverstone, representing the largest technical team of their kind in the world.
Production of the Aston Martin DB6 completes Lunaz’s family of the most celebrated cars in British history, with the all-electric Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Range Rover and Jaguar sportscar models already available.
This has been made possible thanks to an injection of growth capital from leading institutional investors, including David Beckham, Reuben and the Barclay families.

Available in both Left- and Right-Hand Drive, first deliveries will be scheduled for the third quarter of 2023.
Limited build-slots will also be available for Aston Martin DB4 and DB5 cars with prices given on application.
