Peugeot drops price of e-Expert electric van

Peugeot has revised pricing across its award-winning Expert range, including the fully electric e-Expert.

List prices have been reduced by £1,000 across the entire model range. The new e-Expert offers two different battery sizes to suit a range of customer needs. Both a 50kWh and a 75kWh battery are offered on Standard and Long vehicle lengths. The 50kWh battery option is capable of up to 143 miles (WLTP) of range from a single charge, with the 75kWh unit increasing this to 205 miles. Both units support up to 100kW rapid charging, with a 0-80% charge taking just 30 minutes.

All Expert and e-Expert models come standard with Peugeot Connect SOS & Assistance and a free six-month subscription to FREE2MOVE Connect Fleet Telematics, which includes Fleet Management, Eco Driving & Geolocation packs.

Having won the title of International Van of the Year 2021, the new PEUGEOT e-Expert will be available in both the Professional Premium and Asphalt Premium trims.

Professional Premium models come with a 7in Capacitive colour touchscreen with DAB radio, Bluetooth handsfree and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto inside, as well as rear parking sensors, an alarm, air conditioning and automatic lights and windscreen wipers.

Asphalt Premium trims add Peugeot’s Park Assist 180° – featuring front and rear parking sensors with blind spot monitoring and Visio Park 180° rear parking camera, Peugeot Connected 3D Navigation including a three-year subscription with live traffic updates and 17in Alloy Wheels.

The e-Expert also emits zero tail pipe emissions, making the vehicle exempt from congestion and ULEZ charges in the capital and other LEZ zones in urban areas around the country.

Julie David, Managing Director, Peugeot UK, explained that the new versions are aimed to attract a wider range of customers.

“With the latest range updates, we’ve made the Expert and the popular full electric e-Expert even more appealing and accessible to fleets and businesses,” she said.

The base e-Expert is powered by 50kWh battery and starts from £32,450. Meanwhile, the most expensive of the range is the Asphalt Premium version powered by a 75kWh battery and has a price tag of £41,380.

The e-Expert is part of the ambitious plan of Peugeot as the company announced that its vehicle range will be 70% electric by the end of 2021, including passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
