InstaVolt activates record number of chargers in March

InstaVolt has announced that March saw a record 62 rapid chargers set live throughout the UK.

The leading rapid electric vehicle charger network installed chargers in twenty different regions across the UK, most notably in Warwickshire (15), Greater London (six), and Oxfordshire (four).

The increase in live chargers will support InstaVolt in achieving its ambitious target of delivering 5,000 chargers by 2024/25.

A wide and reliable charging infrastructure is a necessity to fully support the all-electric revolution and InstaVolt wants to help the country in its quest to ease the transition to battery electric vehicles, according to InstaVolt’s Chief Executive Officer Adrian Keen.

“The expansion of our public charging network across the UK will help drivers make the switch to EVs by reducing range anxiety,” he said. “We’re incredibly proud to be helping the country move along the roadmap towards the green vehicle revolution, with March resulting in a record number of installations of rapid chargers.”

As we reported, InstaVolt is one the best charging networks in the UK, according to a research done by Zap-Map.

Founded in 2016, InstaVolt owns, installs, and maintains one of the largest public networks of rapid electric vehicle charging units nationwide using 100% renewable energy sources. The company operates an ‘open charger’ model, becoming the first network to introduce contactless payment with no monthly subscription or membership cards required.
