Customers who join the Priority List will be among the first to experience Renault Mégane all-electric when it arrives in the UK later this year.
The Priority List will give customers access to exclusive launch events and test drive opportunities. Customers can choose their preferred version from the three models – Equilibre, Techno, and a rang-topping Launch Edition – and then secure their place on the list with a £500 holding fee, to be held as a pending transaction that can be released if the customer cancels it later.
The French auto giant said 7,000 customers have already expressed interest regarding the arrival of E-Tech, the first of a new generation of electric vehicles built on the advanced CMF-EV platform. Pricing and offers will be announced later this year.
“By joining the Priority List, customers can now secure their place in the queue to be one of the first to own what is set to be one of the most exciting and in-demand electric vehicles available,” said Guillaume Sicard, Country Head UK and Managing Director Renault Brand UK.
All models are powered by a 60kWh battery for a WLTP-certified range of up to 280 miles on a single charge, the company said. With DC rapid charging up to 130kW as standard, it can replenish up to 186 miles of driving range in 30 minutes, it added.
Each model comes with a 12.3in driver information display, 9in multimedia display, and Android Automotive OS with integrated Google services.
Equilibre
The Equilibre variant comes with 18in Oston alloy wheels, full LED headlights, heated steering wheel and front seats, rear view camera, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The all-new Renault Mégane E-Tech 100 per cent electric features up to 26 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These include distance warning alert, traffic sign recognition, automatic emergency braking with junction assist, cruise control with speed limiter, and emergency lane keeping assist with oncoming traffic and road-edge detection.
Techno
The Techno model includes additional specs, such as adaptive cruise control with speed limiter and lane centring, blind spot recognition and intervention, and rear cross traffic alert with rear automatic braking.
In terms of exterior, it comes with 20in Soren alloy wheels, full adaptive LED headlights, front and rear signature lighting and dynamic turn signals. The interior comes with upholstery made from recycled materials, multi-sense customised driving modes with 48-colour interior ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, automatic windscreen wipers, wireless smartphone charging and the full range of Google services.
Launch Edition
The top-of-the-line Launch Edition comes with 20in Enos alloy wheels and a gold F1 blade, while the interior gains a 9-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, smart rear-view mirror, and Around View 3D camera system.
