Audi has confirmed UK pricing and specification details for the updated Q4 e-tron range, introducing longer driving range, faster charging speeds and bidirectional charging capability to its bestselling electric SUV.
The refreshed Audi Q4 e-tron is now available to order in the UK, with prices starting from £46,260 on-the-road for the SUV and £48,160 for the Sportback variant. First customer deliveries are expected later this summer.
The update brings a series of improvements aimed at strengthening the appeal of one of Britain's most successful premium electric vehicles. Alongside revised styling and upgraded in-car technology, the new Q4 e-tron can now travel up to 360 miles on a single charge, while charging speeds have increased to as much as 185kW depending on model. Audi has also confirmed that the Q4 e-tron becomes the first vehicle in the brand's line-up to support bidirectional charging technology.
The announcement comes as competition intensifies in the compact premium electric SUV segment, where rivals include the Tesla Model Y, BMW iX1, Mercedes-Benz EQA and Volvo EX40.
“The Audi Q4 e-tron has been a standout success for the brand in the UK,” said José Miguel Aparicio, Audi UK Director.
“Last year it ranked as the third bestselling electric vehicle and Audi’s second best-selling model overall. With this latest round of updates, the fully electric model is well placed to build on that position in an increasingly competitive market.”
Up To 360 Miles Of Range
The most significant improvements are found beneath the surface.
The entry-level Q4 e-tron Sport uses a 63kWh battery pack paired with a rear-mounted electric motor producing 204PS and 350Nm of torque. It delivers a WLTP range of up to 274 miles and supports DC charging at up to 160kW.
Moving up the range, the Q4 e-tron Performance combines an 82kWh battery with a 286PS rear-wheel-drive powertrain. This version offers the headline maximum range figure of 360 miles while also increasing charging capability to 165kW. Audi says the model can accelerate from 0-62mph in 6.6 seconds.

At the top of the powertrain line-up sits the Q4 quattro Performance. Featuring dual electric motors, all-wheel drive, 340PS and 680Nm of torque, it cuts the 0-62mph sprint to 5.4 seconds while still providing up to 337 miles of range. Charging power rises to a maximum of 185kW.
The introduction of bidirectional charging is arguably the most future-focused upgrade. While Audi has not yet provided detailed information on supported hardware or vehicle-to-home applications in the UK market, the technology could eventually allow owners to use the vehicle's battery to power their homes or feed electricity back to the grid when compatible energy systems become available.
Revised Design And Technology
Audi says the refreshed Q4 e-tron receives a cleaner exterior design and a more connected cabin experience. The interior centres around a new 12.8-inch MMI Navigation Plus touchscreen and an 11.9-inch Virtual Cockpit digital instrument display. Wireless smartphone integration is standard across the range, while twin inductive charging trays allow two devices to be charged simultaneously.
The new model line-up is structured around four trim levels: Sport, S line, Black Edition and Vorsprung.
Sport models include 19-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting, heated front seats, three-zone climate control and adaptive cruise assist. The standard specification also includes a rear-view camera, traffic sign recognition and Audi's latest digital key technology.
S line versions add a sportier appearance through unique bumpers, 20-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass and sports suspension. Inside, buyers gain leather sports seats, illuminated S-branded door sills and a flat-bottomed steering wheel.
Black Edition builds on that specification with gloss black exterior detailing, Audi Sport wheels, electrically adjustable front seats and heated rear outer seats. Additional comfort features include auxiliary air conditioning and upgraded interior materials.
Vorsprung Leads The Range
The flagship Vorsprung variant introduces Audi's most advanced technology package.
Externally, it gains Matrix LED headlights, OLED rear lighting, 21-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels and a panoramic glass roof. Inside, the model receives a front passenger display, SONOS premium audio system and dynamic ambient lighting. Advanced driver assistance features include Adaptive Cruise Assist Plus, surround-view cameras and an augmented reality head-up display.
These additions help position the Q4 e-tron Vorsprung among the most technologically advanced electric SUVs in its class, particularly as buyers increasingly expect premium EVs to offer large digital displays and sophisticated driver assistance systems.
UK Pricing
The revised Q4 e-tron range starts at £46,260 for the Sport specification with the 204PS powertrain. The 286PS Performance model begins at £50,960, while the 340PS quattro Performance starts from £55,960.

Prices rise to £49,300 for S line, £52,210 for Black Edition and £58,960 for the Vorsprung trim in 204PS form. The most expensive version in the line-up is the Q4 quattro Performance Vorsprung, priced from £68,660. Sportback models command a £1,900 premium over their SUV equivalents.
Strengthening Audi's EV Offering
The Q4 e-tron has become a crucial model in Audi's electric strategy, sitting below the larger Q6 e-tron and Q8 e-tron in the brand's battery-electric line-up. Its combination of family-friendly dimensions, premium positioning and competitive range has helped it become one of the UK's most successful electric vehicles.
