The premium brand of BYD, Denza announced the official pre-sales price range of the Flash Charge Edition of its N8L SUV. Featuring the 2nd-generation Blade Battery and flash charging technology, the new version of the SUV will be priced from 350,000 CNY (approximately £38,000). Customers who placed their orders during the pre-sales period will be able to enjoy up to 18 months free flash charging privileges.

Originally launched in October 2025, the N8L Flash Charge Edition will largely inherit the designs of the current model, featuring a 2 + 2 + 2 six-seat layout and will be equipped with a charging technology that supports up to 1,500 kilowatts of power. With the key upgrade, namely the Flash Charging technology, drivers will be able to charge their vehicles from 10% to 97% in just 9 minutes. Alternatively, drivers can also charge their vehicle up to 70% from 10% in only 5 minutes. There will be an additional 3 minute adjustment that will be required for charging scenarios at -30C.

The N8L Flash Charge Edition will be equipped with an array of displays including a 50in” AR-HUD, 13.2in instrument cluster, 17.3in central control screen, and more. The system supports multi-screen interconnection and integrates DeepSeek’s large language model for voice interaction. The AI-powered all-scenario intelligent voice system supports in-car payments, dialect recognition, and quick commands 2.0. Audio features include Devialet + Dolby Atmos + QQ Music Hi-Res lossless quality sources, supporting wireless karaoke.

The vehicle will be equipped with a battery pack capacity that reaches up to 75.26 kWh with a pure electric range of 430km. It will feature a 2.0T high-efficiency engine and high-efficiency EHS hybrid system that will enable a 0-to-100 kilometers per hour acceleration in just over 3 seconds.

The N8L Flash Charge Edition will be equipped with BYD‘s God's Eye 5.0 advanced driving assistance system (ADAS) and automatic emergency braking (AEB). The God's Eye 5.0 system will feature reinforcement learning end-to-end large models and massive real-world driving data for continuous evolution. This will enable all-scenario intelligent detouring and U-turn capabilities.

In addition, the N8L Flash Charge Edition adopts the e3 intelligent vehicle control technology platform and is equipped with the DiSus-A intelligent air body control system, which dynamically increases suspension stiffness and damping to reduce body roll and lower rollover risk. Combined with intelligent road surface preview 2.0, the system scans the road ahead through sensors and proactively adjusts suspension status based on different road conditions for a better, more comfortable ride.
