Renault’s new 100% Master E-tech electric van now available in the UK

Renault has released the new version of its multi-award-winning LCV for order in the UK, the Master E-tech. It starts off at £37,500 plus VAT, including the Government’s full £5,000 Plug-in Van Grant.

Powered by a 105kW motor with 300Nm of torque and an 87kWh battery, it has a WLTP range of up to 285 miles – a 20% improvement on the previous model. For charging options, a 130kW DC device will add 142 miles of range in just 30 minutes, while a 22kW AC charger will top up the battery from 10% to 100% in just under four hours. From those statistics, this van is ready for those notoriously tiresome M25 drives.

The Master E-tech has a record-high payload capacity of up 1,625kg, on top of a 2.5-tonne towing capability. Combined with a 25% increase in total cabin storage over the previous model the LCV has tons of space. The cabin comes with Renault’s intuitive OpenR Link multimedia system and a 10in screen, which has wired and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Its active safety features include lateral stability, automatic emergency braking and trailer stability assist systems. Some drivers may also appreciate its Intelligent Speed Assist, to help them stay within the speed limit.

With all these innovative features, there’s no wonder it’s collected not just the title of “Best Electric Van”, but also the awards for “Best Large Van” and “Van of the Year” in the 2025 Parkers Van and Pickup Awards. A well earnt “Van of the Year 2025”.
