Citroën is set to showcase its latest electric vehicle offerings in a tour across the UK this September, marking the public debut of its New ë-C3 electric hatchback. The tour, which begins on 12th September, will visit five cities: Nottingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, and London. It offers a hands-on opportunity for the public to explore the newest addition to Citroën’s electric range, as well as several other models.
At the heart of the tour is the New ë-C3, Citroën's most accessible electric car to date. Designed with urban journeys in mind, it aims to provide an affordable entry point for drivers looking to make the switch to electric without sacrificing comfort or quality. The ë-C3 features a 44kWh battery, offering up to 199 miles of range according to WLTP testing. It also supports rapid charging, with the ability to recharge from 20% to 80% in just 26 minutes using a 100kW DC charger. The New ë-C3 is available in two trim levels, with prices starting at £21,990 OTR MRRP for the PLUS model and £23,690 OTR MRRP for the MAX version.
The tour will also feature other electric models from Citroën’s line-up, including the ë-C4, New ë-Berlingo Van, and the Ami 100% ëlectric. The latter is a compact two-seater designed for short urban trips and has already gained attention for its innovative design and practicality.
One of the highlights of the tour will be a series of interactive activities for visitors to engage with. Citroën has transformed its New ë-Berlingo Van into a prize vault, giving members of the public the chance to enter a competition and win a variety of prizes. The top prize is an Ami 100% ëlectric, providing a unique incentive for attendees.
Greg Taylor, Managing Director of Citroën UK, spoke about the company’s commitment to making electric vehicles more accessible to a wider audience. “The UK debut of the New ë-C3 demonstrates Citroën’s dedication to providing affordable, practical solutions for city driving. We aim to make the transition to electrification as seamless as possible, ensuring that our customers can enjoy the benefits of electric driving without compromise.”
For those interested in seeing Citroën’s latest electric offerings in person, the tour schedule is as follows:
- Nottingham: Smithy Row, Thursday, 12th September
- Manchester: Exchange Square, Saturday, 14th September
- Glasgow: Argyle Street, Tuesday, 17th September
- Leeds: Briggate Primary, Thursday, 19th September

This event offers an opportunity for the public to gain first-hand experience of Citroën’s electric range, explore the benefits of electric driving, and potentially walk away with a prize. As the push for electrification continues, Citroën aims to provide solutions that cater to everyday driving needs while making electric vehicles more attainable for UK drivers.
