The world’s leading electric vehicle (EV) and home energy exhibition, Everything Electric, is gearing up for its highly anticipated return to Farnborough, UK, from 11th to 13th October 2024. This event, which has become a pivotal fixture in the global sustainable energy calendar, promises to be bigger and more comprehensive than ever before. If nothing else, it is a great way to get some extra myth busting done!

Previously known as Fully Charged Live, the event has undergone a rebranding to reflect its expanded focus on all things electric. The Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre, a venue known for hosting large-scale events, will serve as the backdrop for this three-day showcase, which will cover a vast 25,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor exhibition space.

A Comprehensive Showcase of Green Technology

Everything Electric aims to provide a holistic view of the current and future landscape of electric vehicles and green technologies. With over 200 businesses set to exhibit, the event will offer attendees a unique opportunity to explore the latest advancements in sustainable living and zero-carbon innovations. The exhibition will feature a broad array of products and services, from electric cars to home energy solutions, reflecting the growing interest in cleaner, more sustainable energy alternatives.

The timing of the event is particularly significant given the new Labour Government's strong backing for the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources. This support underscores the urgency of adopting cleaner energy solutions, making Everything Electric an essential event for both consumers and businesses looking to stay ahead of the curve. Under its earlier guise, it was a great place to see new cars from BYD etc last year.

Test Drives and Live Demonstrations

One of the key attractions of Everything Electric is the opportunity for attendees to get hands-on with the latest electric vehicles. The event will feature up to 10,000 test drives, available on a first-come, first-served basis, allowing visitors to experience a wide range of electric vehicles from top manufacturers such as Ford, Tesla, and MG Motors. Notable models expected to be available for test drives include Hyundai’s Ioniq 5 and 6, Tesla’s Upgraded Model Y, and Ford’s Mach-E, among others.

In addition to test drives, the event will host numerous live demonstrations and interactive sessions across two dedicated theatres. These sessions, led by experts in energy, sustainability, and technology, are designed to provide actionable insights and advice to help attendees make informed decisions about their transition to a more energy-efficient and cost-effective future. Concept cars, chargers and affordable supercars have all made a splash with visitors in the past.

Family-Friendly Activities

Everything Electric is not just for industry professionals and eco-enthusiasts; it is also a family-friendly event. A variety of activities and rides will be available for children, aiming to educate and entertain younger visitors. This approach reflects the event's broader mission of inspiring the next generation to embrace sustainable living practices.

Affordable Access

Tickets for Everything Electric are priced starting at £15.60, with options for one, two, or three-day passes. Importantly, children under 15 can attend for free, making it an accessible event for families interested in exploring the future of green technology together.

A Global Movement

Everything Electric is part of a global series of events run by Fully Charged, which has grown into the world’s leading home energy and electric vehicle platform. The platform, hosted by notable figures such as Robert Llewellyn and Helen Czerski, has amassed a dedicated following, with over 4 million subscribers and more than 200 million views on YouTube. The events have seen significant success across the globe, with the 2024 series kicking off in Sydney and continuing in major cities including London and Vancouver before heading to Farnborough.

Conclusion

As the world moves towards a cleaner, more sustainable future, events like Everything Electric play a crucial role in educating and inspiring both consumers and businesses to adopt green technologies. With its comprehensive programme, hands-on experiences, and family-friendly atmosphere, Everything Electric 2024 is set to be an unmissable event for anyone interested in the future of energy and transport. Whether you're an EV enthusiast, a homeowner looking for energy-efficient solutions, or simply curious about the latest advancements in green technology, Farnborough will be the place to be this October. Go and see if the Top 10 benefits of choosing an electric car have changed!
