Citroën UK has unveiled deposit and monthly payment details for Ami 100% electric and My Ami Cargo as it opens online bookings of the electric quadricycle.
Customers can pick up an Ami 100% ëlectric, an electric mobility vehicle designed for metro areas, for £19.99 per month on Personal Contract Purchase (PCP), over 24 months, the company said. The deposit amount is £2,369 and customers will have an optional final payment to purchase the vehicle at the end of the contract.
The passenger version – Ami 100% ëlectric – is offered in three trim levels, with a choice of three Colour Packs and a starting price of £7,695 (on the road). The commercial variant My Ami Cargo, designed for last-mile deliveries in urban areas, comes with a single specification, priced at £7,995 OTR.
The vehicles are sold online and customers who have already made reservations will get deliveries, starting later this summer with a choice to get delivery at their nearest Ami approved point or home. The vehicles can be reserved online for a £250 refundable fee to secure early access to Citroën’s online platform, it said.
All versions of Ami feature a 6kW electric motor delivering a top speed of 27.9mph, and a 5.5kWh battery with a range of over 46 miles (under WMTC testing). A charging cable is built into the passenger door frame, which attaches – using a simple adapter (supplied with both Ami 100% ëlectric and My Ami Cargo) – to a Type 2 connector, allowing a full charge to be completed in three hours from a home Wallbox or a public charging point, the company said.
The electric quadricycle comes in four versions: Ami, Ami Pop, Ami Vibe, and My Ami Cargo and offers three colour packs: Orange, Blue or Grey, priced at £400 (inc. VAT).
Each pack comes with colour-coded wheel trims, colour-coded rear pillar decals, three colour-coded dashboard storage boxes, a colour-coded dashboard bag hook, exterior door capsules, two door storage nets with a colour-coded horizontal band and two black floor mats with colour-coded trim. All Colour Packs add a separation net between the driver and passenger footwells, a smartphone cradle for the dashboard and the DAT@AMI connection box that allows customers to consult their Ami’s charge status, and more, from the MyCitroën mobile app, the company said.
“Having Ami in the UK is crucial,” Citroën UK’s Managing Director, Eurig Druce said, commenting on the importance of an affordable, urban transport solution for all kinds of people.
