The pure electric Fisker Ocean SUV has made its European debut at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which runs from 28th February to 3rd March.
Production is set to begin in November 2022 and deliveries to selected European markets and the US will follow shortly after.
Fisker’s top trim, the Fisker Ocean Extreme, can do 390 miles under WLTP testing. It has a dual-motor AWD drivetrain, three driving modes and a number of first-to-market safety features.
“Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is the ideal place to showcase the Fisker Ocean, as our vehicle is full of advanced technology, including over-the-air offerings that we will take to a new level,” said Henrik Fisker, chief executive of Fisker.
“With the Fisker Ocean's combination of performance, value and sustainability, I believe we have a unique electric vehicle with industry-first features, such as California Mode, a 17.1-inch rotating screen and the longest range in our segment.”
The standard Fisker Ocean Sport can travel 275 miles on a single charge.
Fisker currently has 47 prototypes under construction as it looks to build the most sustainable vehicle ever made.
Alongside this, the Californian-based start-up is also developing a comprehensive European strategy.
Construction is already underway for its first brand experience centre in Munich with plans to build further centres across Europe. Last year, Fisker chose England as the headquarters for a new ‘Fisker Magic Works’ division that will make special editions of the company’s vehicles.
“Europe is critical to the company's success as we work towards building the most sustainable vehicle,” said Mr Fisker.
Prices start at £34,990 and attendees of the annual trade show in Barcelona are invited to see the Fisker Ocean in person.
