The new all-electric Nissan LEAF 2022 lands in Europe in April this year with a refreshed look and more innovative technology.

Prices start at £26,995 with the plug-in grant applied and the car will be available to order from 1st March.

Customers can choose from two new body paint colours: Pearl Blue or Magnetic Blue.

Optional 16 and 17-inch alloy wheels bring an element of sportiness, with a slick black fascia enhancing their premium feel.

Nissan’s refreshed brand logo also features on the wheels, front grille, and rear.

The Nissan LEAF 2022 model has been given ProPilot technology enabling its users to automatically stop, start and maintain a safe distance to the vehicle in front.

This is combined with an innovative e-pedal, which can do all three functions – accelerating, decelerating, and stopping – for maximum comfort.

Within the on-board NissanConnect system, the LEAF features Android Auto and Apple Car Play smartphone integration.

Owners of an Amazon Alexa smart home device can connect this to their LEAF for added convenience.

There are two battery options available that deliver up to 239 miles of range under WLTP testing.

“The Nissan LEAF has always been about making advanced technology and the thrill of electric driving accessible to everyone with over 577,000 customers worldwide,” said Arnaud Charpentier, vice president of product strategy and pricing, Nissan AMIEO region.

“LEAF has been designed around families’ needs to offer seamless connectivity and an efficient powertrain.”

Nissan is planning to launch 23 new electric models – including 15 full EVS by 2030.
