JustGoEV has finally launched the UK’s first dedicated marketplace for all new and used electric vehicles.
As WhichEV reported few weeks ago, JustGoEV is an online platform that already has over 3,000 EVs, Plug-in Hybrids and Hybrids listed, via a network of over 600 dealers.
The new platform has the goal of aiding the all-electric revolution and accelerating the transition from internal combustion engines to battery electric vehicles, according to Co-Founder Jack Woodgate.
“Our research shows us that the UK EV car parc is expected to top nine million vehicles by 2030 and that already 50% of car buyers are considering an EV of some description as their next purchase, so now is the perfect time to introduce the platform,” he said.
This service will offer the ultimate online destination for buying and owning an electric model, with a huge choice of electrified cars for sale and comprehensive EV news and content, according to Woodgate.
“Almost eight out of 10 car buyers say they do most of their car-buying research online, so if a consumer is looking to make the leap to an EV, we’re offering them a platform that filters out everything that’s irrelevant to them and helps with common ownership hurdles like installing a home charge point,” he said. “The EV tipping point is almost here, so it makes sense to have a marketplace for them and associated services as the EV market continues its rapid evolution.”
According to the company, the platform is driven by simplicity for both buyers and sellers, to help aid the UK’s transition to EV from both a consumer and business perspective, helping dealers achieve profitable sales while still offering the best value for customers.
