The new Citroën all-electric ë-SpaceTourer van is now available to order in the UK market.

It is powered by a 50kWh battery connected to a 100kW (136hp) electric motor. Under WLTP testing the ë-SpaceTourer can cover up to 143 miles on a single charge. It supports up to 100kW rapid charging technology, so an 80% charge will take just 30 minutes. The ë-SpaceTourer also features a 7kW on-board AC charger as standard. A full charge from a 7.4kW domestic Wallbox takes 7 hours 30 minutes.

The price will be starting from £45,600 after the Government Plug-in Car Grant and customer deliveries will begin in November 2020.

In order to attract more customers, Citroën has partnered with Polar, the UK’s largest public charging station provider, to give customers a free six-month subscription to Polar Plus. This brings with it the convenience of having access to more than 5,000 public charging stations across the UK.

The all-electric van measures 4,950mm long, 1,920mm wide and 1,890mm tall and is capable of seating up to nine passengers. Also, all of the rear seating can be removed without the need for tools, increasing load space up to a maximum of 3,968 litres.

The Citroën will be equipped with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Screen for the ultimate in smartphone compatibility. Users have access to DAB radio with Bluetooth and an easy to read seven-inch capacitive touchscreen display. Also, there will be the innovative Citroën Connect Box, which allows the driver to set up deferred charging or to pre-condition the vehicle via the MyCitroën mobile app on their smartphone.
