Those who remember MG will know the British brand established itself on the market in 1924. A lot has changed since the days of its petrol and deisel-led cars, as the now Chinese-owned manufacturer is pushing for a greener future.

The MG ZS EV is an all-electric SUV that has a 163-mile range, 141bhp of power with a top speed of 87mph, comes with a seven-year warranty and more importantly, prices of the SUV start from just £21,995 with the top-of-the-range ZS Exclusive model costing just £23,495.

This comes after the manufacturer announced that it hit over 2,000 orders in just two months; where MG had a discount period for new customers, making the vehicle a tasty proposition for first-time buyers or those looking to invest into a family-sized EV.

Daniel Gregorious, Head of Sales & Marketing at MG Motor UK, said: “Since the official launch of the ZS EV in July, MG dealerships across the country have reported unprecedented demand from customers eager to get behind the wheel. We have listened to all of the positive feedback and are delighted to offer this fully electric family SUV to the next 1,000 retail buyers from just £21,995. Our mission at MG is to make high-tech, zero-emissions cars available to all, and we are well on our way.”

The introductory offer has been extended to a further 1,000 buyers – MG is matching the government's £3,500 plug-in grant making this one of the most affordable EVs you can buy in the UK. You'll be able to find your local dealer by visiting MG's site, here.
